Flow Yoga

This class is taught by:

Adam Deatherage

Adam brings a curious passion for yoga history, philosophy, and poses to his classes with a constant theme of "letting go". He has been meditating since the age of 12, always having a passion for mindfulness and learning. Adam completed his first teacher training at Dharma Yoga in Austin, Texas and his second at Yandara Yoga Institue in Baja, Mexico. Adam is registered with the Yoga Alliance, a certified Reiki Master level practitioner, a MBTI certified practitioner, and holds a B.S. in Psychology. Adam also works as an advertising consultant with the Wizard of Ads and produces and hosts his own TV show. He always offers a multi-level class so everyone is included.

Carson Ford

Carson serves many roles at Balance, including Studio Director and instructor. She began her teaching career as a teenager, coaching swimming and dance throughout high school and college. Carson developed a love for the body and how it works while earning a Bachelor’s of Science in Exercise Physiology from Midwestern State University. Carson began practicing yoga in 2015 and was instantly drawn to the mind-body connection reached through the practice. She felt that the body awareness she developed through dance and the mechanical understanding of the body she gained through her degree came together perfectly to give her a special connection to the practice.

Carson completed her 200RYT training with Toni Farris at Yoga Tree in Plano, Texas and is registered with the Yoga Alliance. Carson specializes in beginner and modified yoga and has a passion for teaching a safe and mindful practice. She developed the Foundations Yoga program for Balance and enjoys working with first-time yogis of all ages. In addition to Foundations, Carson enjoys teaching Flow Yoga and Restorative Yoga, as well as Barre and Core Pilates. She is currently working toward her 500RYT and plans on becoming a teacher trainer.

Yvonne Franke

Yvonne believes there is a beautiful spark in each and every one of us that makes us shine, whether it be with our practice on the mat or at the barre. Students who flow or plié with Yvonne, can expect to build their confidence, their innate strength, and gain peace in her dynamic classes. In 2018, Yvonne received her 200RYT certification from Soul Motivation Yoga School in Fort Worth, where she was trained in Baptiste Power Vinyasa Yoga. Shortly after in the same year, she completed her Barre teacher training with the International Ballet Barre Fitness Association.

Julia Lamberth

Constantly seeking new ways to keep her creativity growing, Julia is a yoga instructor and the marketing designer and photographer/videographer for Balance Studio. She received her 200 RYT certification in 2017. Julia's pursuit of yoga began in college when she led an overactive lifestyle of being a student, runner, swimmer, artist, teacher and youth leader in college. Never sitting still for long or allowing her mind to rest, yoga became the answer to the stillness she desperately needed to maintain a healthy mind/body balance. After college, she began attending classes and continued to allow yoga to be a pivotal part of her life ever since. Julia has also had a heart for the arts and growing her creative spirit. This begin with photography when she bought her first camera at 16 years old. She opened her business in 2011 and primarily photographs weddings, portraits and commercial work. She is a member of the Professional Photographers of America. While running her business, she also graduated from Midwestern State University in 2013 with a Bachelor of Science in Education.
