A survey by the World Health Organization pointed at stress as a “worldwide epidemic”. Between 75-90% of all visits to the doctor are for stress and anxiety-related concerns. But the saying “Life is 10% of what happens to you, and 90% of how you react to it” is true! Stress seems to be everywhere in our lives, and sometimes we feel like we’re at its mercy. In this presentation, Stephanie Lundgreen will discuss what stress actually is: why we have it, what happens in our bodies when we experience it, where it comes from, and most importantly, how to take control of it. She will introduce how to use knowledge, relaxation, meditation, and even laughter to help you stop the stress response and create a calmer, more peaceful, and focused you. Stephanie is a meditation teacher, a Certified Stress Management Consultant (IACT), and a Certified Hypnotist (IMDHA). Cost of workshop is $25/person. This workshop will be offered in a 2-part week-day session, or a single weekend session.
