Heather moved to Wichita Falls in 2009 from Layton, Utah and resides here with her daughter Aryah. She is working on her Bachelors of Science in Radiologic Technology at MSU. Heather is a Hatha Yoga Level 1 and 2, certified through SCW. She is excited to continue growing her practice and finds joy in the journey. Heather doesn’t believe in taking things too seriously and would like everyone to just own their inner bad ass. No ego, no judgment on the mat and a nice balance of both in life. Yoga gives her a strong foundation physically, a balanced perspective mentally and a way to heal emotionally. She looks forward to taking a trauma sensitive approach to yoga in the future.

Flow Yoga: Level 1 & 2
A traditional Vinyasa yoga class with contemporary dynamic flow. This fluid practice links breath with movement, and balances strength with flexibility. Each teacher has their own unique style, so each Flow class delivers a different experience. All Flow Yoga classes are appropriate for some beginner students up to advanced practitioners.
Flow and Rest: Level 1
Flow and Rest begins with a slow, heating Flow Yoga sequence to loosen the body and connect with the breath. The class will finish with a 20-minute Restorative Yoga practice to release tension from the body, bringing calm and balance to the nervous system and the mind.
Chair Yoga: Level 1
Chair yoga offers the benefits of yoga all done from the comfort of a chair. This class will help to increase strength, flexibility, and respiration. Other benefits of chair yoga include improving balance, posture, and range of motion, all without stressing or straining the joints. Chair yoga will also develop core strength while relieving stress, tension and anxiety. Chair yoga is ideal for those who have limited mobility and flexibility, those recovering from injuries, seniors, and women during any trimester of pregnancy.
Restorative Yoga: Level 1
A gentle yoga practice that is designed to restore the nervous system and help release deeply held tensions from the body and mind. Props are used to support all joints of the body while holding each pose for several minutes to allow the mind to relax and the body to release. This class is appropriate for students of all levels.
