Mind-body approach to pregnancy, childbirth, and parenting preparation with a therapeutic focus
Prenatal yoga is a time to slow down and connect, both with yourself and with the life growing inside you. Take some intentional time out of your week to relieve the challenges of pregnancy while strengthening and preparing the body for labor and childbirth.
In these classes, our yoga practice will focus on:
• Strengthening the legs, pelvic floor and uterine muscles
• Releasing and relieving tension held in the muscles of the back, hips, and shoulders
• Reducing mental and emotional tension and anxiety surrounding pregnancy and childbirth
• Discovering comfort and peace from within throughout pregnancy and during the onset of labor
• Melting the body into a peaceful rest
• Nurturing conscious pregnancy and parenthood
Together we will build confidence in ourselves and our bodies by surrounding ourselves with other beautiful, like-minded humans, sharing our wisdom with one another to cultivate our ideal birth experiences.
Many birthing parents begin prenatal yoga in their second trimester. However, with encouragement from your doctor, feel free to begin before or after, especially if you have an already established yoga practice.
Classes held on Wednesdays from 6:00-7:00pm! Early sign up is highly encouraged as space is limited to keep instruction personalized! Head over to our schedule page to sign up.
